How we detect AI usage and how you can use it

AI Detection
The AI Detection tool gives you a score between 0 and 100 based on how much AI we think that the submission has used.
| Score | Notes |
|---|---|
| 0-25 | Unlikely to be written with AI. |
| 26-50 | The user may have used AI, however we are not certain. |
| 51-100 | The text shows large amounts of similarity to an AI generated piece of text. |
AI Can make mistakes, and the AI Detection tool will never be 100% accurate. Additionally AI Detection cannot be run on legacy submissions (any submissions made before the migration to v2.0).
Copy/Paste detection
When a server has premium enabled, and a user pastes or copies text from a text-based question, you will see a flag when viewing the submission. When an analysis is requested, this information is also sent along with the question data itself to help determine if it is made with AI or not.
This may therefore impact the AI Detection Analysis tool.
